History of the Christopher Radko Brand
If it wasn’t for a tragic Christmas tree accident almost 30 years ago, the Radko brand may have never began. The stockings were hung with care in hopes that St. Nick would soon be there. But before he was able to visit the Radko household the family’s Christmas tree covered with over 1,000 vintage ornaments toppled over. Described as being distraught, Christopher set out on a mission to recreate the family’s ornaments that were rooted in celebrated memories. His continuous search to find ones that were as high-end as the originals ended when he realized he would have to start from square one. At the age of 23 and with the guidance of a knowledgeable Polish glassblower he set out to recreate the treasured heirlooms. In 1985 Radko launched his business with 60 unique designs and never looked back.
